1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HIIGSI DOON (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including job seekers, employers, and organizations posting tenders.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

3. Job seekers

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, CV, qualifications, and salary expectations.
• You grant employers you apply to permission to view your submitted application and CV.
• You must not impersonate any person or misrepresent your experience or credentials.
• HIIGSI DOON is a platform that connects talent with opportunity; we do not guarantee employment.

4. Employers & organizations

• You must post genuine job vacancies and tenders and provide lawful, non-discriminatory listings.
• Candidate data accessed through the Platform must be used only for legitimate recruitment and handled confidentially, in line with applicable law.
• You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute candidate information or Platform content.
• You are solely responsible for your hiring decisions, employment relationships, and procurement processes.

5. Plans & payments

• Employer plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) and their features are described on our Pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers — Stripe (card) and WAAFI (mobile wallet). By paying, you also agree to the relevant provider’s terms.
• Fees are stated in USD and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice.

6. Content & acceptable conduct

You are responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to post anything unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, defamatory, or that infringes others’ rights. You must not misuse the Platform, attempt to gain unauthorized access, upload malware, or disrupt the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these rules.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, logo, and software, is owned by HIIGSI DOON and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit but grant us a licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Platform. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform without permission.

8. Privacy & data

We collect and process personal data to operate the Platform, including profiles, CVs, and application data. CV files are private and accessible only to you and employers you apply to. We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the suitability of candidates or employers, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Interactions, interviews, offers, employment, and tender awards are solely between the relevant parties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HIIGSI DOON is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. On termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date; continued use after changes means you accept them. These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
